Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Small Business Edition

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Professional

With Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0, the following versions will be available:

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Workgroup Edition This version is limited to 5 or fewer users. It can be installed on Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition, any of the supported Windows Server 2003 editions, or Microsoft Windows Server 2008. This version is limited to a single organization and a single computer that is running Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Server.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Professional Edition This version has no user limit and is limited to a single organization. Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Professional Edition Server can, however, be installed to more than one computer.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Enterprise Edition This version has no user limit. Additional features include support for multiple organizations, multiple server instances, and role-based service installation. Rolebased services let you increase performance by installing component services on different computers.

On-Demand CRM vs. On-Premise CRM

Over the years, CRM users have had to choose one of two camps - install and maintain your own CRM system in-house and those who have choose the software as a service (SaaS) on-demand solution to meet their CRM needs. Many people feel that On-Demand CRM holds the edge over On-Premise CRM. In my mind, the real decision lies in the organization's functional requirements. It is dangerous for the technical requirements of the CRM solution (on premise vs. on demaind) to dictate the chosen CRM software.

InterAction 5.5 SP3 - What's New?

Service packs are designed to improve the features and functionality of software. InterAction 5.5 SP3 includes changes made to ensure compatibility with Microsoft Windows Vista, Microsoft Exchange 2007 and Microsoft Office 2007. I feel this is a good move for LNIS. More and more users are moving to Vista and it is imporant for CRM software to support changes and advancements of the operating system.

SugarCRM On-Demand vs. Salesforce.com

We evaluated the two most prevelant on-demand CRM systems - SugarCRM and Salesforce.com. This our first side-by-side review of the two packages. Which CRM Vendor Provides the Best Experience? The primay difference is that Salesforce.com is quickly becoming more of a "platform" than a mere CRM tool. AppExchange is growing every day and SFDC is constantly building upon their platform. SugarCRM is very different from all other CRM software providers since it's software is considered open source.
