Imerman Angels Selects RightPoint Consulting to Build CRM System to Match Cancer Fighters, Survivors, Caregivers and Volunteers
CHICAGO – June 9, 2008 – - RightPoint Consulting announced today that it has been selected to implement a Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) for Imerman Angels, a non-profit organization that helps connect cancer fighters with cancer survivors. The CRM system will serve as a medium to manage and track Imerman's one-on-one cancer support service, which partners people fighting cancer with others who have beaten the same type of cancer.

The new system will leverage the capabilities of Microsoft CRM in order to manage the unique criteria of millions of people affected by cancer. Using a live call center as the point of entry, cancer fighters will provide call center representatives, who are cancer survivors with personal information that will enable the system to match them with a Cancer survivor based on fields such as age, gender, religion, type of cancer and geographic location. Fighters will have the ability to rank the fields in order of importance in order to ensure that they are matched with the most appropriate person. Once all information is entered into the system, the CRM System will search for the closest matching survivors. Fighters and survivors will also have the ability to submit their information using a web-based system, which will automatically upload to the CRM database. The system will also provide a means to form one-on-one relationships between caregivers - friends or family of a loved one who has been affected by cancer.
