RightPoint Consulting Reduces Impact on Climate Change Through Partnership with TerraPass
Firm pledges to reduce and offset over 60 metric tons of carbon emissions.
CHICAGO – May 8, 2008 – RightPoint Consulting, a leading management and technology consulting firm, announced today that it is taking significant steps to reduce its carbon footprint by sponsoring clean energy and carbon reduction projects through TerraPass, an organization which funds clean energy and efficiency projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
As part of an ongoing company-wide effort to be more environmentally sound, RightPoint has become a Carbon Balanced Business by purchasing over 60 metric tons of carbon emission reductions through TerraPass to offset its green house gas emissions in 2008. Conservation efforts within the organization such as making smart choices in order to significantly reduce travel and energy costs, will also help reduce RightPoint’s carbon footprint.
“As a professional services organization, our business is not directly associated with a specific environmental industry.
